What this site collects, and what it does not.

bease.llc collects only the data you submit through its forms and the strictly technical data its operation and security require. It uses no audience measurement tool, no advertising service, no tracker and no third-party form service. Data are processed on the Group’s servers.

Controller.

Data processed and purposes.

• Contact form: name, e-mail, organisation, country, subject and message — to answer you and follow up the exchange. Basis: our legitimate interest in answering the requests addressed to us.
• Investor contact request: the same, plus the nature of your contribution, your horizon and your message — to examine your approach, made on your own initiative, and, where appropriate, to establish a relationship as an identified investor. Basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
• Investor area: access code (stored hashed), e-mail, sign-in log, information and documents delivered, declared participations and, where entered, amounts and notes encrypted at rest — to perform the contractual relationship with the investor and keep him or her informed. Basis: the contract.
• Press area: name, function, media outlet, type of outlet, country, professional e-mail, telephone, professional link, purpose of your request, and, once accredited, accreditation code (stored hashed), sign-in and download log — to examine your accreditation request, deliver the material the Group intends for you and send you the information it publishes. Basis: steps taken at your request, then the accreditation granted to you; information mailings rest on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time from your area or through the link in every mailing. Retention: twelve months of accreditation, renewable; a request not accredited is kept for twelve months.
• Security: hashed IP address, timestamps and request counters — to prevent abuse and limit automated submissions. Basis: our legitimate interest in securing the site.

Retention.

Contact messages: twenty-four months after the last exchange. Investor contact requests not followed by a relationship: twelve months. Investor area data: the duration of the relationship, then the applicable legal and accounting retention periods. Press area: twelve months of accreditation, renewable; a request not accredited is kept for twelve months. Security logs: twelve months.

Recipients.

The companies of the Bease Group, for the purposes above, and their technical providers acting on instruction: the site’s host and the Group’s e-mail service, which delivers the messages. No data are sold, rented or passed to any advertiser. Data may be disclosed to an authority where the law requires it.

International transfers.

The Group has its seat in the United States; data are processed in the United States and in the European Union. For persons located in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, transfers outside those territories are governed by the standard contractual clauses recognised by the competent authorities or by an equivalent safeguard.

Fonts.

The Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Hindi and Hebrew versions of the site load Noto fonts from Google Fonts; your browser then transmits your IP address to Google for that loading. The other versions send no request to any third party.

Your rights.

Under the law applicable to you — including the General Data Protection Regulation for residents of the European Union and the United Kingdom, and the data protection laws of the U.S. states — you may access your data, have them rectified or erased, restrict their processing, object to processing based on our legitimate interest, withdraw your consent, obtain their portability and give instructions as to their fate. Write to privacy@bease.llc; we answer within one month, extendable by two months for complex requests, and we may ask you to prove your identity. You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country of residence. Investors may suspend notifications from their area without losing access.

Security.

Encrypted exchanges (HTTPS), hashed access codes, investor-area amounts and notes encrypted at rest, single-use time-limited sign-in links, access logging, attempt limiting. No password is stored.

Minors.

This site is not directed at persons under eighteen and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes.

This policy may be updated; its version date appears below and any material change is signalled on this page.
